Happy Hour Talk - "How can young barristers establish
good working relationship with solicitors?"
Barristers get works from solicitors. As a young barrister, however, have you ever felt that it is difficult to get connected with solicitors? Even if you have made some connection, do you feel that it is hard to maintain a good relationship with them in order to receive briefs? Indeed, many solicitors have the same problems. They need young barristers to help their work, but they complaint that there is no platform for networking with young barristers.
Here, we are providing such platform for you and the solicitors.
The Small and Medium Law Firms Association of Hong Kong (“the SAMLAW”) is a professional organization for small and mediumsized law firms and legal practitioners in Hong Kong. We organize activities to facilitate the interflow between young barristers and small and medium sized law firms. Further, the SAMLAW focuses on how barristers and solicitors can provide service to Hong Kong related legal matters in the Mainland market.
The SAMLAW is organizing a happy hour gathering on 16th April 2012. We are inviting young barristers, especially those being called within 2 years to join the event. During the happy hour gathering, the founding members will present a short talk on working relationship between young barristers and solicitors.
